Originally built for Tommy Sopwith for the 1963 Cowes-Torquay powerboat race.  At that time it was built to a modified Ray Hunt design with a specially streamlined cabin to comply with the Cowes-Torquay rules.

It raced for a few years in the 1960s and was then modified further with the addition of a rear cabin and wheelhouse.

I purchased it a few years ago with the intention of turning it back (as near as possible) to her original specification with the intention of fulfilling my ambition to attempt the Cowes-Torquay powerboat race this year.
